Enrichment
Our enrichment programme breaks the barriers of curricular structures and government mandates. The activities within each 6-week block allow pupils to design, create, and learn without limits.
Through the enrichment areas, we aim to help students develop skills and strengths beyond the classroom, such as getting involved in developing the school environment in outdoor learning, learning about mental health and well-being, trying new sports, learning about different cultures, or performing in a musical event. We believe that by recognising the importance of supplementing the curriculum with well-thought-out enrichment activities, our broad extracurricular programme helps to create well-rounded pupils physically, morally, culturally and spiritually. Enrichment sessions allow our pupils to try something new, grow and thrive.
Enrichment sessions are taught by teachers and support staff who are recognised specialists in their fields or passionate about what they are delivering. During this time, our Key Stage 1 and 2 class teachers have the opportunity to work together as they are all off the timetable together.
