Admissions

Although the county co-ordinates admissions for all schools, as Church Langton is a Church of England Primary School, the School Governors remain the admissions authority.

In formulating the admissions policy for the school the School Governors consult with the Leicester Diocesan Board of Education and the Leicestershire LA.

The criteria for admission reflect the Trust Deed and the Anglican Foundation of the school. The Policy is annually updated.

We currently have limited spaces available in 4 and 6.

Mid Term Transfers

To apply for a midterm transfer you will need to apply via the schools Local Authority.  Please go directly to the application form using this link https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/education-and-children/schools-colleges-and-academies/school-admissions/apply-to-move-school.  Our contact for admissions at our school is Mrs Belford & you can reach her on 01858 545237 or by emailing her [email protected] and she will be able to help you with any queries.  We process our own admissions within our school.

The School Admissions Code states all admitting authorities must aim to have a decision to parents in 10 school days & it is mandatory the decision is with a parent in 15 school days.

The school serves the villages of Church Langton, East Langton, Thorpe Langton, Tur Langton, West Langton, Slawston, Goadby, Stonton Wyvile, Cranoe, Noseley, Welham, Glooston, Carlton Curlieu and Shangton.
