Learning outdoors can be a valuable tool to bring new concepts and ideas alive.
Learning outdoors can be a valuable tool to bring new concepts and ideas alive. Through Outdoor learning we aim to introduce the children to common birds, trees and animals and encourage them to look out for them in the wider world. We aspire to children being be able to name and talk confidently about their habitats, food requirements and how to respect living things. We develop and skills of co-operation and working as part of a team. We encourage children to talk about and analyse the things they see around them and raise awareness of changes over time. Many aspects of work in the classroom can be brought outside and whatever the weather on a Wednesday afternoon we will be outside.
